Thursday 29th March

SHE SAID :

It was a sad farewell, for me at least, to Tina, Ramzie, and their family, and of course, Cape Town. The almost 2 weeks flew by. Luckily we left plenty of time to get to the airport, expecting the traffic to be bad. But as it turned out it wasn't, however trying to find fuel to top up the car was a puzzle. Then getting the hire car to the right place, was a brain ache too.
All part of travelling I guess.

We got to the BnB in Norwood around 4pm; l booked the same place as before. It was nice to return to familiar surroundings. We knew where to get the groceries and beer!

Farewell Cape Town

It was cloudy & bumpy flying out of Cape Town -
Here well above the clouds it was blue skies again

HE SAID:

After saying our goodbyes to our marvellous hosts, our flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg was a bit bumpy, but fine overall.

Our arrival back at the loft BnB was only marred by the activation of the security alarm and siren, which unbeknown to us was still active. The arrival of the security response tactical men armed with an AR15-style machine gun was vaguely reassuring, though unnecessary.
