Another
place ticked off the "to do" list today. This time we went out to
Dumaresq Dam. I was told there might be orchids, but the roadside on
the drive in was very dry, with long grasses, which didn't bode well. Then, at the dam area, which is now a park, there were cows grazing.... NO ORCHIDS!
Anyhow, we had a pleasant 40 minute walk around the dam, followed by morning
tea.

HE SAID:
An orchid-less wander around the dam, dodging aged orienteer-ers, followed by the footy on TV in the afternoon, filled my day.
