is hopefully on the final leg of the van heater installation. It
seems to have taken quite a long time, with more bits needed than
originally expected! Anyhow, I'm looking forward to testing it out!
Hopefully free camping in winter won't be an issue from now on!
My
chores today included countless opening & closing of the door to
let Miss Puss in/out...no cat-flap here. She just miaows demandingly when she
wishes to come in!!!

With some projects there is scope for many additional bits and pieces, depending on your whims. This is one of those projects. I didn't need to wrap cables in split conduit. It was not essential to cage off the heater air intake. It was not necessary to add intake and outlet venting. And so it goes on...
