had a crazy 400km round trip checking out orchids, leaving at 6am,
with Geoff happily snoozing away. (He wasn't quite as keen to do the
early thing! LOL).
On
my return he had done all the washing & some van cleaning too!
Hubby did come with me to the 2 new spots I had been told about, where we
found quite a few more orchids; at least 2 & maybe 4 new to me
ones!

Varena was driving back to previous seen orchid spots to check the progress of known orchids. That, and her 6am departure, were not terribly motivating for me. A comfy, warm bed was a much better option!
