SAID:
We
did the Northern Wildflower loop today; shorter than yesterday's &
devoid of orchids. There were some pink everlasting daisies beginning
to appear though, along with other white daisies, yellow &
purple flowers.
The
highlight of today’s drive was “The Waterfalls”; a slight
exaggeration, but scenic. The Greenough River was flowing & there
was a small trickle over the rocks!
After
lunch back at the van I headed out solo for a couple more hours; no
flowering orchids seen again though!
