Geoff had a few chores to do on the van, but I hibernated inside.

After I could detect no leaks in the ute's brakes this morning, and all seemed in order, I went for a test drive. The test drive went very well! So, it seems that I may have been over-cautious as it was my first attempt. Time will tell, but I am confident.

Over the years I have flushed the van's water tanks a few times but this time I thought I'd use a cleaning product that is supposed to help with water quality. There was no real need or water problem, and I don't think that we've put poor quality water in, I just thought that it seemed to be a sensible idea after all this time. The cleaning product is really just a powdered version of bleach, but should be harmless after flushing it all out after it has done it's stuff overnight. I gave the water tanks an additional flush to be sure, then refilled the tanks in case we need the water at a free camp, especially if Suzanne and Doug come back early.
