Geoff is returning from over east today; hooray!

I went to pick him up from Perth Airport, stopping at Island Point on the way up there in the vain hope of finding an orchid. It was not to be!

His flight was about 20 minutes late, but he’s back!

HE SAID:

I lugged my bag back to King's Cross station and caught the train to the airport. I had not had a good night's sleep so was up early and headed out. The flight was uneventful, and despite being a touch late, Varena met me at Perth Airport with no problems. Great to see her! She drove me back to Leschenault, stopping for coffee and a brownie along the way. She thinks of everything.

Mum went home from hospital with new medications for her heart, but her back is still giving her grief.
