Sunday 4th June
SHE SAID:
We had a pretty good day out in the local area spotting orchids - five flowering types & a heap of leaves & buds coming up. Geoff found the highlight of the day, a single Red-veined Shell.
We got back to the caravan park 45 minutes before the rain started; great timing. It looked like the big group of caravan club vans, I assume that’s what they were, had departed & the place was half empty now.

The orchid season is still building, so we haven't found anything new for a little while. Varena was still happy with the finds, though. She is so enthusiastic!
