I headed to Roleystone, in the hills above Perth, for an ADORP survey for the newly named Darling Range Bunny. The weather was wet, but not windy or freezing cold!
Martina drove me, Ric, Deb & Peter to the various locations to search. We didn’t find many & they are hard to spot, especially in the rain. The only feature that is different from other bunnies is the burgundy colouring on the underside of the leaf.
It was a nice day out & I have ticked another box in my new orchid quest.

HE SAID:
I stayed at the house and managed to get a few jobs done. One job, that I had been putting off for ages, is the cleaning of the van's 4 seasons roof hatches. They are a real pain to access, from either inside the van or outside, and if I wreck a flyscreen it could take a couple of weeks to get new ones in the post. I started outside, from the roof, and struggled to make any headway, so I changed tack and went from the inside. Anyway, I started very slowly, experimenting as I went, and managed to clean one of the four flaps on the first hatch. So, with a little optimism, I managed to clean all four flaps. I'll tackle the second hatch another time.
