We had a quiet day in the van, till we hitched up & headed for our next house sit. We only had 100km to drive to the tiny town of Wandering.
We got to the house just before 4pm. Vicki & Darron had kindly moved their van so that we could park under the carport too. Dinner was pizza from the local pub (which Vicki & Darron used to own!). The house address is 3 Hotham Street; a couple of years ago we did a “sit” in Popanyanning at 2 Hotham Street!
Geoff was happy that the cricket was put on!

HE SAID:
We headed out from Darkan after lunch and headed to Wandering. We parked up, had a beer and a chat with Vicki and Darron, then Darron and I went to the Wandering Tavern to collect pizzas for dinner. The pub was a let-down, despite the pizzas being very good. The place was freezing cold, with even the local regulars wearing their big coats inside, and the bar staff could not work the TV at all, even to turn it on. So how was I to watch the cricket? Anyway, a pub that is bloody cold, and without the sport on, is not a great place. I was lucky that after a while a local managed to get the TV on, which was good for the few remaining minutes we waited.
