Geoff & I headed north about 20km+/- beyond Grass Patch. There were several spots I wanted to look at up that way. We had some success around Red Lake, finding 5 flowering orchid types, though not the Sigmoid Spider I had hoped to see.
This location proved to be the best for the day. We had a further 5 stops, none of which had much in flower other than Greenhoods.
We were back around 2.30pm & Geoff managed a short chat with his Mum. She is still in ICU, battling 3 separate infections, & is very tired as she isn’t sleeping much. But the doctors say she is slowly improving.

There is a lot going on with Mum at the moment. Intensive Care is not a good place to be! I keep thinking about heading to Canberra, but then rule it out. We'll see.
