Geoff was keen to give Charli a walk after us being shut-in yesterday. So, we headed for the walking track above the beach. We did scout around for orchids too. Geoff found the only open one of the walk, the Curled-tongue Shells.
We met up with Kathy & I hopped into her car & headed for Dempster Head. Geoff & Charli walked back to the ute & then went back to the house.
Kathy & I failed to find anything open at this well know orchid location. As per expected there were heaps of leaves & buds, but nothing flowering; a little disappointing. I was back for lunch; a nice change!

HE SAID:
Our outing at the beach path this morning was rather blowy, but not freezing. Finding some flowering orchids at least made it a little exciting, mainly for Varena.
I got the fire on at lunchtime to warm up the place up before Varena's return. This house stays cold for hours in the mornings!
Skype with Mum went ahead as usual. Mum is still a bit flat flat from her injuries, and the subsequent medications, after her fall in March. Hopefully there will a bit of a recovery soon.
