SHE
SAID:
Geoff
joined me for a fruitless drive to Condingup, but the scenery made up
for the lack of orchids.
Geoff
found a new “sweet spot” out at Coolinup, with loads of Spiders
coming, also Sun & Mignonette leaves, & flowering Brittle
Snails. I hope some of the Spiders are out before we leave!
Back
at the house it was nice to open up & enjoy the warm afternoon.
It got to 21C, on a rare sunny day here!

HE
SAID:
With
limited orchids found the highlight for me was seeing the spray from
a few unknown mammals far off in the sea off Little Wharton Beach. I
couldn't tell if the half-dozen or so spouts I saw were from whales,
dolphins, or something else. And, rather disappointingly, by the time
Varena came to a good observation point they were seen no more. So,
therefore unverified, and unidentified! |
