Sunday 10th September
SHE SAID:
We had a lazy morning & cooked brunch at Pumphrey’s Bridge before heading to Roleystone. Deb & Peter had kindly allowed us to bring the van to their place a week early & leave it there when we head to Canberra.
It was also a good opportunity to do a handover with Geoff there.
We left Roleystone for Karawara to catch up with Scott & Andrea, & get our accumulating mail. They also put on dinner; it nice to see them, as they are off for a month at the end of the week.
Our final stop was Perth Airport for our flight to Canberra, via Melbourne; it’s going to be a LONG night!

HE SAID:
We had a lazy start to the day, then Varena made us both an bacon and egg roll for brunch. We then hit the road, arriving at Roleystone around 2pm. After a cuppa and a muffin we went over the hand-over info with Deb and Peter, heading for Scott and Andrea's place in Karawara just before 5pm.
Arriving at Karawara a bit before 6pm, after a fruitless hunt for some grog to take along, we had a good catch-up chat, and some of Andrea's lasagne.
We were at the airport by 9, though I had to replace a headlight bulb after parking the car, as I had noticed it was out on the drive there. Luckily I had a spare in the car! Our flight was about two-thirds full, which was good, as I had no-one on one side of me, but we had a grey-haired, straggly-dreadlocked, bearded bloke behind us who coughed a hell of a lot. Hopefully that does not bode ill!
