SHE SAID:

We cleaned through the house in the morning, then I headed out on one final orchid hunt. Geoff decided to stay at the house.

I had a good day, finding 16 different orchids, from north of Mt Barker through to the Stirling Ranges NP.

We Skyped with my brother in Japan after dinner; it was a good distraction from recent events.

HE SAID:

I stayed at the house for the day. I wanted a bit of time to just absorb, and contemplate, Mum's death. I ended up going through lots of photographs, partly to reminisce, partly to forward to my sisters for inclusion at Mum's funeral, and partly just to do some sorting of them.
