We had a catch-up day; breakfast with Geoff’s mate John at the Californian Diner in Southlands, then dinner in Pearce at Rama’s Indian Restaurant with Daniel & Evan. I don’t think I’ll need to eat much tomorrow now! Both brunch & dinner were filling & tasty.
We also had a test drive of the FORD Wildtrack ute & the ISUZU D-MAX ‘X-Terrain’. We are hoping to change vehicles next year, as ‘1GUT’, our current Colorado ute, is 10 years old & has 330,000km on the clock. Both cars are very nice, but the FORD definitely outshines the ISUZU…. food for thought!

It was a big day, with plenty of good food, some good catch-ups, and the ute test drives. The Ranger Wildtrack was such a nice car, in every way. It made the D-Max seem like a much plainer car, more like a slightly upgraded version of our current Colorado. There is a price difference, of course, but I reckon the Ranger would be worth it in the long run.
