SHE SAID:

We had a look around William Bay & Denmark this morning but didn’t find too much. It is cooler & wetter here & things come on later in this part of the world.

I was surprised that we were back at the house for lunch.

Geoff heard from his sisters in Canberra saying that Val, his mum, is back in hospital with a range of compounding health issues. We are waiting for more news.

HE SAID:

We ate our picnic lunch back at the house, having returned much earlier than planned. We got rained on a bit this morning so getting back in front of the fire and drying was exactly what was needed.

After lunch I changed the oil on the ute again. Geez, 10,000km went past quickly. I am doing the changes a little more often as the engine is getting on, having done 333,000km now.

Mum is in a bad way again. Unable, or unwilling, to eat, short of breath, anxious; it does not look good for her now.
