Tuesday 9th April
SHE SAID:
Today is John’s 92nd birthday & he had booked Tottington Manor for lunch for us all, including his sons Michael, & Andrew & his family. There were 10 of us & we had a nice private dining room with a log fire for our party. Lunch was lovely; I managed 3 courses as did most of the others.
We adjourned to John’s place for a cuppa, returning to Horsham around 6pm I think.

Our day out and lunch was good. The food and beers were good, as was the company. I resurrected the log fire in the dining room a few times, but when it went out due to a lack of small bits to keep it going I was blamed! In jest of course.
