Friday 6th September

SHE SAID:

A happy day: we are into our 15th year of travels.

A sad day: the 1 year anniversary of the death of Geoff’s Mum, Valerie.

Geoff had a skin cancer clinic appointment today in Dalyellup, south of Bunbury, about 90km from Bouvard. He kindly dropped me & Nikki, whom we picked up along the way, at Manea Park before heading to his appointment.

He joined us around 11am for a cuppa & a continuing wander around. We saw lots of common orchids, also lots of buds of things to come! We also checked out the Eaton burn, which had mainly Cowslips & Red Beaks.

We toasted Val at dinner, as well as our continuing adventures.

HE SAID:

It is the first anniversary of Mum's death. It is also the commencement of a new year, the 15th of our travels. So, the 6th of September will always be a day of marking events in our lives, with both sad and happy connotations.
