Sunday 8th September
SHE SAID:
Evelyn & I headed out at 7.30am. We went back to the Wandering area & checked out some new & old known spots.
It was a good day with 28 orchids found, including White Chinas, which are rare, & the lime-green Dancing Spider that Evelyn found last week semi-open.
We got back before dark, just before 6pm.

HE SAID:
My day at the house had a few chores: some more wood cutting, fixing a shower tap spindle, odds and sods. I also pulled my old computer apart a bit, removing the old SSD drives to keep. The rest will probably end up at the e-waste facility for recycling. It is a pity that I had only bought the new battery for it in May.
Gary Ruxton, my old colleague from AFP Darwin Airport, called during the morning to ask if we wanted to house-sit a friend's place on 300+ acres in Victoria. Unfortunately it was for March, and we are booked already.
