SHE SAID:
I left Bouvard at 5.20am for my drive to Geraldton. I had several stops in mind along the way but wanted to hopefully get across Perth before the main rush hour traffic started. I had a good run & had my first stop in Yanchep NP.
All the stops produced orchids & I was happy with what I found.
I got to the Drummond Cove Caravan Park just before 3.30pm. It was a long drive but broken with the orchid hunts it didn’t seem too bad. The cabin overlooks the ocean, though I haven’t seen a whale yet.
The sunset was so so!
Lots of colour still around in the bush |
HE SAID:
I had assumed that Varena would be off early, as the excitement of her trip would have her clock-watching. And so it turned out. I know she'll have a good time, but I stayed in bed for another couple of hours. With some rain forecast for the next couple of days I made sure to get the weed spraying done, and a few other small jobs.
