SHE SAID:
No orchid hunting today. I’m heading north tomorrow, so needed some supplies, & to organise packing for my 2 nights away.
It wasn’t totally orchid free though as the Common Mignonette in the garden is pretty much fully open now, so I had to get some photos!
We had another fire in the pit too; it was a mild, still night & very nice.

HE SAID:
Wood, washing, and watering kept me ticking over today. A couple of drinks by the fire in the late afternoon was a good way to chill out before Varena's northward trip in the morning.
