Sunday 27th October
SHE SAID:
Today was Paul’s 90th birthday gathering at the Suffolk Club, a regular haunt of Paul’s. I think 60-80 people showed up; it was a popular event. Two cakes came out to feed everyone. There were plenty of of presents, cards & conversation going on.
The afternoon & evening were equally chatty back at the house on the back verandah. Once the O’Regan’s get together there is no stopping them!
HE SAID:
We joined a whole heap of people at Suffolk Park to mark Uncle Paul's 90th birthday. It was a relaxed affair, starting around 0930 and lasting until 2pm to suit as many people as possible. Paul held up well, meeting and greeting the throng, and being the centre of attention the whole time. I was surprised when Varena, Steph, and Jac grabbed a cocktail. It was after noon, if that matters. The day was happy and chatty, with O'Regan (and Snowy) drinks back at Paul's afterwards.
