Friday 22nd November
SHE SAID:
Geoff & I had a ½ day out down Windy Harbour way. We checked out the scenic lookouts along the coast. It was nice to see the sun again, & it was mild. I think the clouds like hovering over Northcliffe.
We were back to the van for Minestrone Soup & cheesy toast. Geoff watched the cricket & I headed out to a close area to look for orchids. Annoyingly, it was cooler, cloudy weather here & the 3 Sun orchids I’d hoped to find were all closed & or budding. I have my fingers crossed they will be open on Monday before we leave!
Back at the van the cricket appears to be going badly for the Indians & worse for the Aussies!

It was a more sight-seeing morning than orchids, though we still managed to find a few.
My initial reaction to Australia getting India all out for for 150 was happiness. That was until we lost a quick 7 wickets for not much! ARGH!
