Thursday 28th November

I was feeling rather delicate this morning, I had stomach cramps last night from what I think was the onions that I used in the curry. They didn’t agree with me & I slept badly. I think they should all be thrown out as some of them are rotting, but they aren’t ours.
Geoff headed to Manjimup solo to get the car serviced; it’s up to 30,000km already!
A surprise late in the day was an email saying I'm getting a step closer to getting my insurance claim money back from Economy Booking. This has only been ongoing since 11th Nov 2023, when I got a stone chip on the windscreen of the hire car we had in Tasmania! Fingers crossed it will be finalised in a couple of weeks!
Our latest house sit, including a pizza oven in the lounge/dining room with the back sticking into the bedroom & bathroom! |

HE SAID:
Unmolested by last night's
onions I made the trip solo down to Manjimup for the car service.
After dropping the car in I headed for Coles, Woolies, and several
other places, partly to look for things I wanted, and partly to fill
in time. On my wanders I noticed a florist, and as Varena was feeling
poorly today, I popped in after collecting the car and bought the
only flower arrangement they had! Apparently the shop was open but
the florist was out of town, so the lady who was manning the shop had
no idea. The flowers were nice though.
