SHE SAID:

It was a quiet day here. I got the hand watering done, before it got too hot. The temps are creeping up a little to about 33c & 34c today, & for the next few days.

I had a go at dying my hair again, using the “Nordic Blonde” colour again. But this time it has come out more honey/yellow… not sure why!!!

Around lunch time we heard sirens on the highway. I checked the Emergency WA app & there was a bushfire in the centre of suburbs in Dunsborough! The fire started in remnant bush, then jumped the road into some bush; the wind picked up causing more evacuation warnings. But late in the evening it seems as though it is under control with no properties destroyed.

I had no real plans for today so just tinkered around the place. John Feds and I had a long chat around lunch time, discussing all sorts of things, as you do. Varena surprised me at dinner with some pork pie and salad. I hadn’t even realised that we had it!
