Saturday 17th May
SHE SAID:
Mum & I had a couple of hours wander around town; the Saturday markets were on. We stopped for a look in the new Aldi, which was being built last year when we were here, then on to Waterstones, the book shop, for a cuppa.
Geoff was quite happy to stay in; he found the AFL to watch.
We were back for a late lunch & quiet afternoon. I worked on checking some things for Mum, & Geoff gave technical support.
Thai Salmon Fillets, corn-on-the-cob, & salad was dinner, followed by crème caramels.
HE SAID:
Today I successfully dodged another markets. As it turned out Varena and Jan left the flat just after an AFL match had started, and they returned just after it had finished. So, perfect all round!
Since Microsoft shut down Skype and replaced it with Teams Jan and John have not been able to have their nightly video chats. It has been a couple of weeks, so I managed to get them sorted out this evening, which seemed to please them both.
