Another dull day, weather-wise, though not as bad as predicted.
Kate joined us at Mum’s for a couple of hours, & in the late afternoon Geoff & I headed out again to meet my oldest friend Claire ,& her husband Brian. Claire & I went to kindergarten together when we were about 4 years old!
We met at the Red Deer for drinks then continued on to the Akash Indian Restaurant. It was a tasty, though different, experience to the Australian curry places. Geoff says less flavoursome.

HE SAID:
Kate joined us for a cuppa and a chat in the morning, covering all the pertinent topics. Later, Varena and I drove up in the rain to the far end of town to meet up with Claire and Brian. They are always good company, and we chatted away merrily over our curries.
