SHE SAID:

Nikki & I had a great 7 to 7 day out orchid hunting between Esperance & Bremer Bay! We also managed a look around the Ravensthorpe Wildflower Festival. The orchids looked very fragile & sad stuck in little bottles!

We saw HEAPS of orchids, a couple of new ones for Nikki, & arrived at the caravan park with enough time to unpack & shower before heading out again to the Resort for dinner. We both chose the steamed Barramundi “en croute” (in paper really). It was excellent; we were both surprised & impressed.

I think it was around 9pm when we crashed out.

Varena and Nikki were off early and zoomed towards Bremer Bay. Of course, they made a heap of stops along the way. I had a few things to do, and also walked to the local shops, just because, not to buy anything. It is just under a kilometre each way, so my jaunt was really just a leg-stretch. I had been left with plenty of supplies, and it is no surprise that I did not starve.
