Another wonderful half day in Dryandra, though the start wasn’t on our agenda. We found a Shelduck duckling in the middle of the road. Thankfully, the caretakers at Dryandra Village are wildlife carers so we took it there.
The tally of local wildlife seen rose by 2 more Numbats, an adult male, & another juvenile one, plus an Echidna. There were happy faces all around in the car.
There were orchids though nothing different, but we found some new locations with 15 or so different types seen.

Once again it was Varena that did all the Numbat spotting. And good ones they were, too. These tiny creatures are great to see, and staying a few minutes in the car to watch them go about their business is a bit of a thrill.
