SHE SAID:
I headed out with Kathy & Nikki to Yilliminning Rock, then to Malyalling Nature Reserve. It was an orchid filled day, with many different ones seen. I have seen them all before but not this season!
I got the fright of my life when I almost stood on a large, fat, fawn-coloured snake who wasn’t happy. It reared up & did a warning lunge at me, then followed me as I ran away! OMG! That was the closest call I have ever had to a snake!

HE SAID:
I gave myself the day off and stayed at the van. There were a few things to do, so I managed to squeeze them in between my very important watching of shows.
Varena's snake encounter sounded very scary. It seems much worse than any interaction I have had with the buggers.
